Please note: over 75% of your nursery fees go directly to our team and enable us to employ highly qualified practitioners and early years professionals, and maintain our high staff:children ratio. Our team are our greatest asset.
We provide full fat cow’s milk or dairy free alternatives once your child is 12 months old.
Government Funding:
Government Funding (Two, Three and Four Year Old Funding)
30 hour funding
All eligible children aged 9 months and over in England can receive up to 30 hours of government-funded early education each week for 38 weeks — that’s a total of 1,140 hours annually!

Tax Free Childcare
The government offer a Tax Free Childcare scheme to help working parents to save money. For every £0.80 that you pay into your account, the government will pay in £0.20. You can use this scheme to pay for £10,000 of childcare per year, so effectively the government will give you a maximum of £2000 per year towards your childcare costs. Terms & Conditions:
Absence
All absences are charged at normal rate. This enables your child’s place to be retained. Due to the strict staffing ratios here at Almond House, patterns of attendance must be adhered to. A child is unable to ‘swap’ days of attendance. If extra days of attendance are required by parents, these will be given at the discretion of nursery management. Parents will be invoiced separately for extra days and will be charged £83 per day.
Bank Holidays
Almond House will be closed on all UK national holidays (which are chargeable) and the week between Christmas and New Year. Please ask management for specific dates. Fees are calculated over 51 weeks per year, meaning you will not be charged when Almond House is closed for Christmas.
Notice
We ask for a minimum of one calendar month’s notice when terminating a nursery place.
Payment
Fees are paid calendar monthly in advance by invoice. Alternatively, standing order arrangements can be made. Failure to pay fees as agreed may result in your child’s place being withdrawn. Please be aware that we pursue all outstanding debt through the small claims court. Fees are reviewed annually in April.
